reDesign’s Daniel Guerrero presents “The Profile Process: Leveraging Your Profile of a Graduate to Create Future-Ready Learners”

Sat. October 14, 10:00 a.m – 11:15 a.m.

Profiles and Portraits of a Graduate, and other collective visions for student learning, are deep commitments from schools and districts to their communities about what the outcome of teaching and learning should be. We create profiles in part because they are aspirational – though they don’t always feel immediately actionable to educators. This session maps out how you can take steps to activate your Profile with a practical and powerful process for mapping, teaching, and measuring the skills students need the most across your district. Are you ready to bring your Profile of a Graduate to life? Let’s move from vision to action.

The reDesign Team in Action

In the bustling heart of Kansas City, an exciting initiative unfolds to revolutionize the way young minds engage with history and civics. The 3rd Annual Summer Institute, a 5-day event for teachers, students and museum educators, took center stage this year from July 10-14, 2023, for a transformative educational journey. With funding from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and organized by the History Co:Lab in collaboration with reDesign, the institute aims to empower teachers to design real-world learning experiences for their students. Hear first hand how the experience made an impact in this short video!
