Yes. Many schools run a core team on Accelerator and invite additional educators to join with Essentials. It’s a good pairing: Accelerator gives your leadership/design team deeper coaching and planning support, while Essentials extends affordable access to the platform for more educators.

• Essentials (individual membership): 100% self-directed and self-paced. No schedule, no minimums. Drop in for 20 minutes to grab a template, or set a weekly block to go deeper and earn CEU-eligible certificates—your pace, your choice.
• Leader Sprint (90 days): A focused cadence with three 30-minute coaching sessions over three months. Between sessions, you decide how much to test and refine in your context.
• Accelerator (schools/districts): Your coach co-designs a rhythm that fits your goals and existing PD/PLC routines—typically onboarding, quarterly check-ins, and optional working sessions folded into meetings you already run.

Bottom line: there’s no required meeting load, and no start and end dates. We help you tailor the work to your calendar, not the other way around.

You don’t have to! Think of CBE Catalyst like a college course catalog—choose the learning pathways that advance your goals today; come back for more when priorities shift. Your membership gives you access to the full, growing library while it’s active, and anything you download or create is yours to keep.

No—by design. Set your outcome first, then choose a cadence (weekly, bi-weekly, sprint, or quarterly) that fits your context—and adjust anytime. While most professional learning programs force you to accommodate their schedules, CBE Catalyst is designed to fit into your goals, calendar, existing professional learning routines, and time allocations. You set the pace that will ensure you achieve your outcomes: if the project is large and takes 2 years, that’s fine. If it fits into 3 months, also fine.

• Depth first: a school focuses all year on scaling one practice.
• Prototype cycle: draft, test, and iterate a single prototype over a term.
• Distributed work: multiple teams explore different pathways in parallel.

We prioritize resources that move practice forward and save time. Each item is selected for (1) learner-centered, competency-based impact, (2) adaptability across roles and contexts, and (3) evidence from real use. Pathways and tools are updated continuously based on member feedback and what we see working in classrooms—so you get access to practical, up-to-date resources.

Yes—through our Accredible partnership, you’ll earn certificates and badges that can count toward CEUs in many states.

CBE Catalyst supports Future9 implementation, but using the Future9 is not a prerequisite to joining. Use your own framework, or a hybrid. Our templates, AI tools, and resources align to your chosen framework. If you want to use the Future9, it is open-source and adaptable—use it as-is, borrow parts, or map it to your current competencies.
