The Project-based Learning (PBL) Project Design Starter Toolkit was commissioned by Furr High School, an XQ Super School awardee.
The toolkit was designed to build a shared understanding of the quality features of a PBL project, as well as a common set of tools and methods that could be applied consistently across the instructional team. Examples of common methods include the integration of an inquiry frame, building around the project-based learning cycle, and connecting all projects to an environmental justice theme.
